My name is Gregory Couch and I am an East Coast based photojournalist-documentary photographer. I focus my work on abandoned buildings, interesting places, and the history that surrounds them. I enjoy tracking down locations that are forgotten or overlooked and learning their history. My interest in different subjects constantly shifts to the point where I might be working on multiple projects at a time all revolving around different themes. I do my best to incorporate photography into my daily life through study of other artists' work and technical knowledge. Photographers who have influenced my style and interests include Margaret Boruke White, Robert Frank, Andreas Feininger, Walker Evans, and Charles Sheeler.
